About
The Global Goals Australia Campaign was launched in March 2016. Over the first 12 months of the campaign, our team met with more than half of the elected representatives in Australian federal government to educate these politicians on the importance of the goals, what they mean for Australia and the opportunity they provide for us to become economically, socially and environmentally sustainable.

We met with members of the Foreign Affairs, Defence and Trade Committee, and since then, have seen the launch of a Parliamentary inquiry into the Global Goals and Australia's response to them. We will continue to work with members of this committee.

We have launched campaigns with businesses and not-for-profits across the country, encouraging people to strive for the achievement of the Global Goals at all levels of society - government, businesses, not-for-profit organisations, community organisations, educational institutions and individual households.

We believe that through meaningful collaboration and partnership we can
end poverty, fight inequality and fix climate change.
"In my view, there is an urgent need to communicate with the public and help to explain where there is consensus, and where are there doubts about the issues of sustainable development."
- Jeffrey Sachs
Our Mission
We aim to ensure every person across Australia not only is aware of and understands the Global Goals but is taking positive action in their own lives, no matter how big or how small, to ensure they are achieved by 2030.
Our Vision
By 2030, Australia will be economically, socially and environmentally sustainable and will be assisting neighbouring countries in achieving the same future for their citizens.
